Tractors mounting the semi-trailers meant to the transport of containers, insulated containers or exceptional loadings damage and break the top-guards supplied to the vehicle. This may happen both while the vehicle is running, by acting on the top surface of the top-guard, and while it is turning, by hitting it sideways and removing it from its support. As a result, in order to avoid continuous brea-kings, transporters remove the top-guards, thus infringing the road rules. After several requests for a top-guard able to avoid breaking problems, Covind studied, designed and created the prototype of a flat top-guard.
Our flat top-guard 960/530 was designed in order to solve the breaking problems in the event of loadings on semi-trailer or extremely heavy loadings. It can be connected to the semi-mudguards already present on the vehicle without the need of replacing them, thus assuring their best adaptability. Our top-guard 960/530 is sold in packages of two units together with four stretchers 960/515 connecting to the semi-mudguards.
